Real Madrid agreed to pay Palmeiras a guaranteed €35m (£30m/$38m) for Endrick, who was just 16 at the time the deal was struck. But that could rise to €60m (£51.6m/$65m) in total if all of the various add-ons are hit. Half can be triggered while he is still in Brazil, up to €12.5m, with the rest payable when the teenager begins playing in Spain. With regard to goals, Real are obliged to pay €2.5m for every five that he scores, meaning €10m is owed on top of the original €35m now that it is 20 goals. Another €1.25m is payable following Endrick's senior Brazil debut in November 2023.
DID YOU KNOW?
Endrick was the youngest Brazil player in 57 years when he played for the Selecao for the first time. In March 2024, he became only the second player in the national team's history after Pele to score in successive appearances before turning 18. He managed it by scoring against England at Wembley and against Spain at the Bernabeu in games just three days apart.

Having not been allowed to join Real Madrid due to FIFA's rules on international transfers for minors, Endrick is fast reaching the point where he can. The forward will turn 18 on July 21, making him eligible to link up with his new club in pre-season. He has just five games left with Palmeiras across the Brasileirao, Copa do Brasil and Copa Libertadores before that happens.
