Simon Mignolet has now officially completed his permanent move to Club Brugge after spending six years with the Reds at Anfield.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper has had a great run with Liverpool and has also managed to accumulate 204 games for the team and getting that Champions League winner’s medal at the very end of the story.
Now, he returns to his homeland in Belgium where he will continue his career. The experienced veteran already said his goodbye in a heartfelt message to all the fans but now, he has been given the same courtesy by his now ex-teammates.

James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum and Dejan Lovren were among the Liverpool stars who took to Instagram to share some brilliant messages with their friend.
Milner proceeded to list a couple of admirable things about Mignolet, including that he is truly an unbelievable professional.

Wijnaldum and Lovren, on the other hand, simply wrote him a message stating how it was a pleasure for them to play alongside him and that they will miss him in the future.
Mignolet arrived at Liverpool back in the summer of 2013 from Sunderland and had immediately enjoyed an impressive first season between the sticks for Brendan Rodgers, the Reds’ manager at the time.
And his story did have a happy ending with that Champions League trophy despite him spending the last minutes of his Liverpool career on the bench.
